Informal, apparently, yet I was in a small room with two interviewers who took turns asking me questions, whilst grading my answers using a 1-5 approach (1 being an unsatisfactory answer, and 5 being exceptional). It began ok, but soon they began asking me pathetic questions such as ‘in what way have you helped a colleague to succeed in your previous occupation?’ (This was just one of several similar questions). As if that question applies to an entry-level laboratory assistant position that pays $22/hr. I have completed a bachelor of science, and have worked with the company for over 5 years. How about instead of wasting my time with a moronic interview, you be more loyal to the staff that are already working for you? It’s $22/hr...for a university graduate and current employee within the company...and I still didn’t get the job!!! Absolutely baffled by the sheer ludicrousness of the entire situation. This isn’t a good job! Don’t act like you are doing anybody any favours!
