The interview was pretty unorthodox as all it really involved was the company’s founder gently bragging about his experiences. The questions asked were self explanatory, and centred around understanding of what the company does.

Don’t waste your time. Invited to interview, and it was quite a strange interview in which the interviewer spent most of the time talking about himself. I was asked a few basic questions about my research skills and ability to manage a large workload, but I was sceptical of any actual ‘research’ being involved in this role, despite the job title. The interviewer didn’t give me a straight answer about how much of the role is research based. To me, this seemed like more of a low paid tele-sales role to sell the company’s conferences. The job description also says ‘competitive salary’ - I asked about this and was told the salary for a graduate is around £20,000 with NO expenses for monthly travel to London. The interviewer also asked which other roles and companies I was applying for, which seemed a bit intrusive. Wasn’t offered a job, but would not want to work there anyway after this interview. Do not be mislead by the job title and there’s countless negative reviews dating back years which I suggest you read before applying to this company.
