I said I like “art, plants, nature, camping, etc” at which point they brought up a camping expedition of their own thru the Alaskan Wilderness. I can’t remember what I said verbatim but I’m sure it was something on the lines of “what?!” or “that’s incredible” along with a bunch of follow up questions. I was undoubtedly excited to connect with the interviewer on something other than work, especially someone who had done something so remarkable. I still have questions. Too bad they’ll have to go unanswered.
