As a shift leader, customer service means creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere for everyone who walks through the door. It's about being proactive, anticipating customer needs, and resolving any issues quickly and with a smile. I would also focus on coaching my team to provide that same level of excellent service, ensuring every customer has a great experience. As a retail and restaurant supervisor and crew member since the 90s this is always been the top reason as to what customer service you mean to us all. If we were the founders of the companies that we worked at we would expect the same. If you keep this type of perspective of jobs that you work at it will show you the more appreciation of what you do is the reason why people are satisfied buying the very products that you are providing a service for. We all have a hand in the success.
