I would listen and do my best to resolve the issue they are having.

Bring them the manager, unless you are one yourself. If you are, then do everything you can IN YOUR POWER to resolve the issue, but do not condone their behavior and make it clear that it's not acceptable to treat anyone poorly over a mistake.
