I was contacted by a recruiter for this job position. First round was a coding challenge on HackerRank consisting DS/Algo and C# questions. Once submitted, after 2 days HR gave the feedback and first technical round was scheduled. I had total of 2 technical and 2 managerial rounds. All rounds started and ended on time. Interviewers were quite professional. Feedback were given on time and next rounds were scheduled on time. I was overall impressed with the Interview Process.

The interview consisted of the following steps: - An initial briefing discussion with a recruiter. The recruiter was very clear about the role and requirements and identified that the role I had applied for wasn't the one I was looking for. She connected me with another person from her team who briefed me on the role and other hygiene aspects. - This was followed by an online HackerEarth test consisting of one programming question and a few objective questions - Post this, I was called for in-office interviews. There were 3 interviews. The first one by a principal engineer. I was asked to solve a problem, implement it in front of the interviewer and test its effectiveness. This was followed by a system design problem. I was asked to design, identify the necessary technologies to implement the design and justify the choices. The interviewer cross questioned me on the choices made. Both of the problems posed were of average difficulty but interesting & engaging. Later the interviewer asked me to plan the implmentation & come up with estimates. Next, the interviewer gave me an overview of the work that they do and the technology/infra stack that is used in Whatfix. - Post lunch, I had my second round of interview - this was by the Head of Engineering. He asked me to solve one progamming problem and implement it. Next, we spent some good amount of time disucssing the product, product path and the role details. - Following this there was the most interesting interview of the day - a mix of technical and human resources interview. The questions were very intriguing and the discussion was extremely stimulating. The next day, I had an interview with the CTO, online. The first half was a discussion on the work that I had done, the product roadmap and the ideas that were being prototyped. The next part was solving and implementing a programming question. This was common in all of the interviews. Next I was scheduled to have a round of interview with the CEO in office a day later. I did not go ahead with this interview - as I got an offer from another place where I wanted to work (more). All of the interviewers & recruiting coordinators were very warm and there was a positive vibe in the place.
