A Karat technical interview, followed by three technical onsite interviews, and a final behavioral round with an Engineering Lead. Throughout, my recruiter was constantly keeping me updated with next steps. After the final interview, I had to provide several references.

During the final behavioral interview, I received several questions relating to my experience using the Whatnot product. I have a sense that the company is constantly trying to improve, and this is evident in the interview process.
Very kind, efficient. Everyone was very communicative ands the whole process went smoothly. Very open to schedule as needed for the many rounds to go through. Would recommend trying to apply.

The interview process at Whatnot started with a recruiter phone screen to discuss my background and interest in the platform. After that, I had a technical screen focused on algorithmic problem-solving and data structures.

They were standard except for product sense round, which was discussion.
