The most unstructured, prolonged and inefficient recruitment process to experience.
Whizmo.ae who are Whizpay Technology started searching for their TA specialist back in 2023 but did not hire anyone. In Mar'24 they opened the role again and interviewed for 3 months until they selected the right candidate. In Jul'24 they are looking for TA specialist again.
HR department and operations acts reactively and will take you through all kinds of recruitment process steps - online meeting, f2f meeting with HR Manager, f2f with CEO, then they'll do verification and background checks, they are all positive - then lo and behold, at that time you will be asked to do an assignment and asked to do free work for a day.
Meeting with HR manager took 1.5 hours and started 30 mins late.
Meeting with CEO started on time and took about 40 mins.
Startup company with ad hoc processes and communication that will always leave you with the impression that you as a candidate are just a number at every step of their process. Immensely negative candidate experience.
