First Interview: HR Call - HR reached out to me for an initial 20-30 min phone screening. Anneli, the woman on the line, was very candid, professional, and pleasant. She was direct but cordial in identifying if I had the experience they were looking for. She also gave a very clear representation of expectations about the hiring process (which is a rarity). Second Interview: Video (Skype) - Approximately 30 days from my initial phone conversation with HR, I was invited to a second video call interview. I interviewed with the employee leaving the position, a team member I would collaborate with regularly and the supervisor of the team this position fell under. Each person was seemed very genuine and candid (again very rare), their questions were targeted but conversational, and just like the HR call, expectations were clear. Third Interview: In-Person - Approximately 30 days after the video call interview I was contacted to come to an in-person interview. I met with several members of Wildfire. I met with two team leaders that my position would collaborate with but not report to, the supervisor the position fell under (for a second time), and the CEO. It was a fairly long process, all of the conversations I felt were conversational, expectational, investigative, and productive. There were a few schedule changes on the exact people met with comparatively to the email I received prior. The meeting with the CEO was very interesting because for the first time interviewing over the years the CEO was direct and open about the company culture, his expectations of team members within the company, his commitment to the people he hires (given their commitment to work well for the company), and his commitment to the services the company provides. I had never had that level of genuine honesty in an interview before, let alone from a CEO.
