Candidatei-me de outra forma. O processo levou 4 semanas. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Williams Design (Dallas, TX).
Entrevista
Met in person with company bookkeeper for a get to know you sort of interview. She let me know about the company's culture - be ok w/bad language, they eat lunch together in the office every day, they try not to work overtime. The company also doesn't have a website, they are quite proud of this fact. Nearly 2 weeks later they invited me to interview with a Junior Designer. She was very nice and let me know how they work and that she would need someone to treat her projects like they are one's own. A Lead Designer joined the interview briefly at one point and she had a little tougher demeanor but very nice. The owner of the company came in and spoke to me at one point also. He loves Dallas and I would recommend that you love it too. After this it was another week and a half before they told me they had gone with someone else.
The process was a little long (4 weeks) considering that the job posting said immediate hire. I returned to the office to pick up my portfolio maybe a week later and the bookkeeper who had been very kind/friendly up to this point was very awkward and downright rude shoving the portfolio at me without even saying hello. I guess it was a bit of an awkward situation but no need to get unprofessional - they should have mailed it to me in the first place, duh.

Do you like living in Dallas? What's your favorite thing about Dallas? Have you worked with a company that works with manufacturers to fabricate their own furniture/fixtures before? Are you comfortable with this kind of highly detailed and costly work?
