It was an assessment centre composed of:
- Hands-on task. This involved being split into pairs and assembling a headlamp for an Aston Martin with no instructions. While assembling, company employees would randomly ask you questions such as what the purpose of specific parts was. This was to assess your practical and teamwork skills.
- The interview was relatively nice with most questions relating to your work during university. I didn't get many questions in regards to my personal life etc.
- The last stage was a bit more relaxed where you had to individually figure out a brain teaser. It was quite difficult however I felt that this stage wasn't assessed too closely and felt like a 'filler' whilst the other candidates had their interviews.
All in all it was an enjoyable experience, especially so as you get a free lunch and a guided tour of the facility.
