Candidatei-me online. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa WisdomTree Investments.
Entrevista
Six interviews including the CMO. A full design assessment I spent days on. Three follow-up emails over two weeks. Complete silence.
Not a rejection. Not a "we went in a different direction." Not even an automated response. Nothing.
I did everything right. I researched this company obsessively. I understood their investment philosophy, their brand positioning, their competitive landscape, their internal team structure. I built a prototype education page in their actual brand system unprompted, between rounds because I genuinely cared about this opportunity. I completed their design challenge to a professional standard. I showed up to every single conversation prepared, enthusiastic, and ready.
They took all of it and disappeared.
WisdomTree's entire brand is built around the idea of doing things with intention and integrity; of not following the herd, of being more thoughtful than everyone else. That positioning means nothing if you can't extend basic human decency to the people who spent weeks trying to join your team.
You put candidates through six rounds because you want to be sure. Fine. But when you're sure in either direction, you owe them a response. Full stop. The fact that a company whose CMO personally interviewed me couldn't find five minutes to send a rejection email says everything about how much they actually value people versus how much they claim to.
To the team at WisdomTree who might be reading this, you know exactly who I am and you know exactly what you did. I hope it was worth it.
