I sent my resume and cover letter cold to the generic email and received a phone screen in a little after a week. The phone screen consisted two 20 minute discussions with the CEO and Vice-President seperately. I was invited to conduct an in-person interview at the Sherman Oaks office (two days after the phone screen). I interviewed first with the junior staff, two AC's and one AAE. They lasted about 15 minutes each and mostly focused on my PR experience and management style. I was then taken to lunch with the CEO and vice-president. They asked about my professional background, PR experience and motivation for switching industries. Following the interviews, I was asked to draft a high-level PR plan for a video game release. I completed the task in a day. While there were many components to the interview process, I feel they were all necessary to find a qualified candidate and nothing was asked of my that a mid-level PR professional should not be able to handle.

Jason the CEO, Is very nice and seemed very interested learning about me, my goals, and how Wanacott could be helpful in making that happen. I was asked to interview again with some of the staff from the company. They were rude at best; they are a very small office and its all about fitting in socially there.
