Overall the process was relatively fine. Mostly coordinated through a recruiter, who was very nice. They required 2 zoom interviews, one with an HR manager, another with the clinical manager. After which I had to do an in person interview with the doctor I was to work for. His demeanor was a bit off-putting, and definitely deterred me from the position. Eventually I was offered a soft offer, dependent upon my background check. While we waited for those results, I was asked to do a “work-interview “. At this point I was a bit turned off by the excessive interviews, as I had years of experience as a ophthalmic scribe, and it seemed this doctor did not fully trust my skills. I ended up getting another offer before I received an official offer from them, but I would’ve declined anyways. Everyone I interviewed with was really nice though.
