Very disappointed in the recruiting process at Workday. I've been repeatedly contacted by different recruiters over the last six months who never elevate the conversation to a hiring manager. Either they stop responding to emails and voicemails, claim the position has been filled, or say I'm suddenly in the wrong geographic region. I feel like I've been black-balled by someone in the organization. But they don't tell the recruiters so that they may maintain a certain churn rate.

Entrevista
3 rounds, Initial 30min with recruiter via phone call, 30min with hiring manager, 30min with peer, final round is a presentation on site with panel. I got to talk to two different hiring managers as I was considered for two positions and one peer, I was not selected for the final presentation to the panel. Overall, I enjoyed talking to the recruiter, hiring managers and the peer. Everyone I spoke with were professional and friendly. I was surprised they considered me even though I did not have pre-sale experience (ultimately that was the reason I was not moved forward). I appreciate the time they talked about the role and typical day to day activity would be like. It seems like they didn't mind looking for people with different work backgrounds. I had positive experience interviewing.

Entrevista
My friend who works at Workday referred me in. Had a phone screen with recruiter who really sold the job. First phone interview with a manager went okay. After 10 days, recruiter finally called to set up second phone interview and asked me to block a date to travel to their office for on-site interviews. Had the second phone interview, then they went silent for 2 weeks. Finally heard from recruiter that someone else accepted an offer for the position.
