The process was simple, the team was nice and all the panelists were cool to talk to. I was offered the role after 3 working days. I counter-offered. It has been 1 whole week and the recruiter is waiting for the hiring manager to come back with new numbers, manager in turn is waiting for senior management approval. This is one of the worst experiences that I have had.
Not sure what kind of recruitment process is this, where candidates are made to wait just to get confirmation.

Interview consisted of 6 rounds and took around 3 to 4 weeks . 1st Interview: Hiring Manager - fairly technical questions, why SRE, how does my day look like on a BAU basis, type and volume of incidents, tools I use in my current role, cloud exposure 2nd interview: basic programming round on Hackerrank, 3 questions on AWS scenarios, 2 python programs, 1 Kubernetes question 3rd interview: some development questions, why SRE, programming questions 4th interview: Network round, AWS networking. 5th interview: Live coding round with System design 6th interview: Communication and situational

AWS transit gateways, how to peer 2 VPCs in different regions, transit routing, Firewalls like Cisco and Palo Alto, Packet filtering, Kubernetes related, Docker related, docker swarm, Active directory integrations, Load balancer issues and debugging, HTTP error codes debugging.

Entrevista
Applied through LinkedIn and recruiter get back after 2 days for scheduling the interview with the hiring manager.
First round with Hiring Manager:
The interview held for 45mins asking about the current roles and responsibilities with some technical questions related to the domain and architecture wise.
Second round is Hackerrank:
Where you will be asked about some programming language and technical domain language.
Third, fourth, fifth and sixth rounds are series of rounds mixed with technical and behavioral questions.
The overall process took 3months.
