Following the screening interview, I met with the hiring team member(s) who used AI tools to ask extremely difficult long-form questions. The interviewer looked off-screen to use AI to ask and evaluate questions, which were several paragraphs long. When I asked to clarify the context, it was met with confusion from the interviewer who asked the question. These signals indicated to me that this is not a good company to work for, especially since the staff rely so much on AI that they don't know what the answer is to their own AI-generated questions.
