I submitted an application and had to also include a sample of a report I wrote. I was then called for a panel interview with senior managers and HR. The questions were quite technical and based on a series of experience I had in the past, related to the job description.

It was a normal competency-based interview (CBI) conducted by the UN. It was online using the Microsoft Teams application and that can be prepared with sample questions that last about 30 minutes.
