Advertised position is not same with "wanted" position. When come from another MNC where normal is to have teams and processes separate, and manager not neccesary have the same skill set, it feel like World Vision Malaysia is searching the person that has both super technical skills from always hands-on with all the different technology, plus must also be very experience manager role.
I'm sorry, but I think you can find these person from a tiny local company, and not MNC. Even if you are solution architects, you find it nearly impossible to in the position. Your JD for the role need to change to make sure you find the unicorn.
Main interviewer was very one-track, only accept his version of answer to a scenario. Any answer that different, will impossible to work. 3 other interviewer was good and polite. It sad that they not looking for right people, and waste a lot of times to interview others people.
In MNC, you can be a manager of a team but not know deep technical skill about the team. Impossible to find manager with both manage skills and technical skills. One or the another only. It easier to learn technical skills again, than learn manager skills. Not everyone can be manager, but anyone can be technical person.
