One of the most bizarre and unprofessional experiences to date.
The recruiter reached out to me shortly after I applied but the issues started immediately. He would contact me to schedule an interview and then stop communicating when I responded. I had three interviews, including the recruiter screen, which I had to follow up on myself just to get it organised. I was essentially doing his job for him. However, they were moving very quickly, so I assumed he might simply be disorganised.
The interview with a colleague went very well — it was a very interesting conversation. Shortly after, I was invited to an onsite interview with very short notice. The interviewer wanted me to schedule the final round of interviews for the upcoming week and was also looking for another senior person in the office to introduce me to. Things were looking very positive, but I was then completely ghosted after attending the onsite interview. I sent a message to the recruiter, and he never responded.

Lots of question about the competitor I worked for
Screening with HR in singapore before being redirected to talent acquisition team in China. Uses their own software called dingtalk for meetings. Not strong on touch points between stages. They don't include the screening stage as an interview; so you'll be going through at least 4-5 rounds.

Entrevista
I recently interviewed for the IT Security position at Ant International, and unfortunately, my experience was highly disappointing.
During the interview, the hiring manager displayed unprofessional behaviour, including making remarks that I found both rude and discriminatory. From the start, I felt that my qualifications and experience were unfairly dismissed, and the tone used throughout the conversation was condescending.
What concerned me the most was a specific comment that appeared to be biased and inappropriate, making me question the company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. This kind of behavior not only made me feel uncomfortable but also raised doubts about the organization’s professional standards.
I strongly believe that every candidate deserves to be treated with respect and fairness, regardless of their background. It was truly disappointing to encounter such a lack of professionalism in a company of this size and reputation.
I hope that Ant International takes these matters seriously and ensures that their interview process is conducted with the utmost respect and impartiality in the future.
