One phone interview and one virtual interview with two employees. I then got positive feedback and then was told they were interested in me for the position but they were on a hiring freeze. I waited weeks and followed up back and forth with them a few times and was told to "hang in there" while they wait for the freeze to lift. A few weeks later, I just get a generic rejection email with no explanation as to what happened. Very disappointing and felt kind of disrespectful.
