Phone Screen was around 15 minutes. Company recruiter was on speaker phone and had a strong accent and I couldn't really understand her. I had to keep asking her to repeat herself and she seemed a little frustrated with me for asking.

I went through four rounds of interviews with this company, including a take-home assessment project. It started off strong with a great call from the recruiter, she was warm, informative, and got me genuinely excited about the opportunity. I then had in-person interviews with executive leadership. One leader was very friendly and engaging; the other came across as a bit distant and somewhat pretentious.
After that, I was asked to complete a project that took around two hours. This wasn’t unreasonable for the type of role, and I was happy to put in the effort. However, once I submitted the project, the process dragged on for several weeks. The recruiter remained communicative and transparent, which I appreciated, but ultimately, after nearly eight weeks, I was informed that the hiring manager had decided not to move forward with filling the role at all.
What was most frustrating is the lack of clarity throughout the process. If I wasn’t the right fit, I would have preferred to hear that early on. Keeping a candidate in limbo for two months, especially when the position isn’t progressing is discouraging. I’ve also noticed many roles on their website that have remained open for extended periods, so I’d advise anyone applying to approach with some caution. It’s possible this company uses the hiring process to collect resumes and ideas without a clear intent to hire.

Technical questions for the most part as this role is very IT heavy

The interview process was extremely unprofessional. It took 5-6 phone calls back and forth to actually schedule an in-person interview. The interview started over an hour late. Both managers I spoke with seemed unprepared to speak with me and talked negatively about the job. I was asked several (illegal) personal questions that did not relate to the role. Neither person I spoke to was able to speak to the benefits package or any promotion path for the role. It seemed like the people working there were desperately trying to find replacements so they could leave. The unprofessional nature of the interview process was uncomfortable and awkward.
