I received a preliminary phone call by the hiring manager who asked me about my experience and why I was interested in the position. He wanted to explain some of the position expectations to make certain I was comfortable moving on to the formal interview. I was. The interview was just the hiring manager and me over Zoom. It was a great two-way interview consisting of mostly information about the position and working conditions. I was asked about my leadership style and problem solving process. Salary was discussed during the interview and it was nice to be able to have a conversation about this in a professional, non-intimidating environment. I have interviewed for many jobs and this was one of the most pleasant experiences.
