An easy, but fun coding test and email back and forth. I liked the process, I liked the questions, but in the end, they didn't have projects for Rails devs. The annoying part was that they advertised(!) to get Rails devs to apply.

X-Teamers support developer communities in a variety of ways: attending/speaking at conferences, blogging, contributing code/docs/issues on Github, StackOverflow answers, etc. Please share some ways you've contributed to open source communities. If you don’t have any experience with such things, tell us a little bit about your feelings on open source and its benefits.
