Entrevista
3 stages which seemed a little OTT as it was an entry level role. First two stages were great and got more senior, both liked me and saw my potential immediately. Then one of the owners (looked like Nigel Thornberry) came in from the USA jet lagged for a third stage interview on a different day and absolutely grilled me on my golfing ability, I'm not joking, if I had a better handicap I'd have got the job. He was very rude looking back on it and the intensity of the interview was not fit for an entry level role for a school leaver. This was 4 years ago now and I can look back and laugh about it because the next place took me on immediately and I've smashed it ever since so it was an error of judgement and loss on their part but the story needed telling because it wasn't really acceptable, especially given the fact that senior people in the business who actually do the recruitment rather than playing golf wanted me and funny enough their judgement and vision was better than the co founders and not having an eye for a candidate is a bit of an issue when you own a recruitment business. Stick to golf, and let the people who know what they're talking about run the business would be my recommendation.

They try to put you at easy but try to trip you up too many times during the in-person interview and then they tell you that they are not moving forward because you 'wasted too much time'

Entrevista
It started out with a call from a recruiter, who scheduled a call with one of the company leaders for only a few days after. Then an in person interview. The interviewer promised that regardless of the decision, they would let me know whether or not I got the role, and if I didn't, what I did wrong. I really appreciated that because many companies would ghost. Quick to schedule and everyone was very friendly and open.

They quizzed me on the various components that one considers when matching a candidate to a job. They also asked me about other jobs in other industries I've applied to and why, as well as my past experiences. An important question seemed to be, "why recruitment?"

Entrevista
Very disorganized. Hiring manager jennifer had reached out to me for multiple months to schedule a phone call. We finally have a call and she had technical difficulties and has to reschedule. Basic interview questions. They are all working in the office which seems unsafe considering the pandemic. Didn't receive an offer which was surprising.
