Entrevista
I knew about the company and have applied directly. The process is as fast as you want it to be. They are flexible to give you time to prep and lean enough to quickly schedule and bring you onsite when you are ready. One call with the recruiting team, another call with the VP of Engineering and then an onsite.
All my interactions with the hiring team have been amazing. XNor has amazing tech and they are definitely onto something big. We are talking about the best experts in the CV community. They were smart, passionate, humble, and showed personal interest during the whole process.

A good mixture of technical questions and behavioral questions. This is definitely not a just people manager role. Xnor have high standards and they are proud to have that.

Entrevista
Talked with recruiter then with an Engineering Manager. Last part was a timed response to an example inquiry from a customer. You get in through email and have 20 minutes from the time you get it to the time you need to send them a response. The specific technical question was specific to microprocessor instructions and XNOR's support thereof. Of course I had no idea but sent a reasonable support response which in the end "they" did not like.
My take away was the Manager is really an academic (looking at the profile) without real world experience. Until then things were reasonable, however, dropping a candidate on such a specific question doesn't bode well for a working relationship. What XNOR.AI is doing is pretty cool and would have been fun to work on.
Advice to XNOR.AI have your baseline requirement in the job description and provide advice on what a candidate needs to know so you do not waste either side's time. Have your recruiter ask a candidate "do you know what XXXX is?" When they say "no" then there is no need. I'm rating this a negative experience simply because you unnecessarily wasted everybody's time.

Entrevista
Applied; was told I was overqualified for the position but they had a better fit available; wasted two hours on a take-home assignment and four hours of in-office interviews over a period of weeks before not getting an offer. Nevermind that take-home assignments are not standard in my field and they didn't bother to respond when I brought it up, it became very clear during the in-office interview that nobody directly involved with hiring had taken the time to read my resume before any of this. This is a cool company from the outside but the whole experience has been a disrespectful waste of my time and labor.
