Went over jib prescreening that was required before interview. Very informative about the company, explained duties of the technician role, training, company structure, size and hours of work. All in all Doug is a great interviewer.

I was given the opportunity to come to the premises and see how an average day to day work life is and what I can learn if selected. After a few hours I was given my first initial interview question which was to mark six lines using a tape measure and what their measurements were. Out of the six listed, one was off by a /32nd and the interviewer verbally exclaimed and wrote down "got it.... doesn't understand simple measurements." At the end of the day I was never interviewed because the manager "didn't find time" and was told he would get back to me in a few days which turned into two weeks. The manager said they will not be continuing with my application because I do not have the required skills and quote "if you actually have any automotive skills like you mentioned you'd know what the head size of a certain bolt size is"

I had a great interview with one individual. The main interviewer didn't come to the interview because a family member was sick, which I totally understand. At the end of my initial interview, they said they would schedule another one so that the main manager could meet me. Then I got the thanks-but-no-thanks email. I was actually shocked because the person I interviewed with said I was perfect for the job, and we both thought it was a good fit.
