My experience entailed a phone interview and a virtual interview.
The initial response prepares you with interview topics of discussion.
Though the conductor was polite, the phone interview felt impersonal and was obviously scripted.
The virtual interview consisted of cold call role playing, actual call critique, and general sales interview questions. It was roughly 50 minutes in duration.
I didn’t hear back for about a week even though I was told I’d receive a status update within 24-48 hours following the interview.
The irony here is that for a position driven by cold calling, their lack of prompt follow through in response suggests that they do not prioritize communication internally.

Entrevista
Interview was smooth. I was given good information about pay, culture, and what is expected of an inside sales representative on typical day. I was also allowed to ask question.
Everyone was super nice and very clearly proud of Yelp culture. The communication was quick and clear on expectations of the interview and onboarding process. Both the recruiter and the hiring managers were very insightful about the business and offered great feedback to my mock call.

They had me run through a mock sales call twice with feedback in between.
It was okay, the salary is quite low and does not match the market for similar roles. I think that the actual interview is not hard, but it is hard to stay motivated knowing the salary number.
