The first interview was a phone interview with someone from HR Department. Before set up the phone interview, I was given an link and asked to read through some maketing sales info from that link and interpreted in my own way. During the phone interview, I was asked about some basic questions at the beginning like why would you like to work with us and how you heard of the job opening. Then I was asked to talk about what I've learned from the link and summarized the content. The second interview was on site and took about 40mins. I was interviewed by 2 senior account managers separately. Both asked me to simulate situations of receiving clients' compaints about their bad business reviews. My responsibility was to retain their satisfaction and patronage.

I just had a quick screening call, and it was really focused on sales, more than on customer service. Cold calling is a big part of the role, and commissions don’t start until about 6 months in.

the interview was a thorough process and detailed. the recruiter went through the entire job role in detail. She warned me that this role was mainly dealing with upset customers and that I was expected to keep them as members of yelp business when they had concerns about the program and wanted to opt out.
