Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Yelp (San Francisco, CA) em jan. de 2011

I was given a call by the corporate recruiter. He seemed OK - asked me some fair questions and said to proceed further, I'd like to send you a UI design (wireframing) test. He sent me an open ended problem to design.
I was surprised to see this test - because typically such design tests are asked in interviews and people generally expect you to whiteboard a design.
In any case, I created a UI mockup and sent it to them along with the assumptions I had made, what other UI's I'd need to design in addition to the one asked, and description of interactions on the screen. I got no response from them. I pinged them back after 4-5 days. The recruiter gets back to me saying that they had changed the design and made it more complicated than the one before. He also said that a "lot of candidates" had presented the same design. I was taken aback. I don't see any issue with complicating a design, but, honestly I would prefer doing this in a 1:1 interview. If they wanted to assess that I had wireframing and pixel-perfect design skills, they had accomplished that with the first design test. I smelt fraud in here.
I thought about the test again, gave them the benefit of doubt and redid the design and sent it to them. This time, I created a little spec with more details in addition to the wireframe. Again no response. I pinged him after a few days. He said that he had sent me an email a "while back" to say that I had not been accepted. The "while back" happened to be 2 minutes before the response to my email. I was furious.
I accept the fact that my design may not have met their requirements. However, I think this conduct was totally unethical. They were fishing for design solutions.

Their interview process is low quality. When interview schedule was updated, the interviewer’s name and position should have been as well, but that did not happen. As a result, I ended up meeting with someone from a different function who did not clarify the reason behind. It was a shock because it completely changes my preparation for types of answers. This person was yawning, distracted by surrounding environment, and probably responding to chats on the side also.
Interviewers answers to my questions were vague and lacked relevance.
Not sure if the company's solving customer problems or if it is more focused on leveraging collected data for company growth only.

Specific question for the role aiming to achieve its advertised feature. But, it's almost too specific (because this interviewer was engineering lead) and forcing to disclose logics and implementations happening at my current work.
was good. the interviewer was kind. I felt appreciated. I would try this out again but I was only looking for a competitive over to take back to my current employer.
It was video call interview with HR first if selected goes to tech interview, then you get another interview with seniors for assesment about your experience then another final interview
