YoNinja asks that you fill out a very lengthy application form, with standard personal information, no option of uploading resume, and asks for 3 essays of 500 words or less. After which, you are automatically sent the step 2 of your application process. Warning, this is a major red flag: the site asks you to post ten listings on their website, which is a very time consuming task. I spent several hours and completed damn good listings (much more intricate than their most popular listings). After several days, I have yet to receive one email from YoNinja. No I'm not saying this site is bogus because I didn't get a reply; HOWEVER, something major dawned on me. By having their application on various reputable sites, you would think this site and application wouldn't be a scam; but if they were to never flagged, every available listings on their website may be from interns like me who were never going to be considered in the first place. The only review of this site, is on Glassdoor, and it states YoNinja never got back to them: no email, no call, nothing. Something is definitely fishy, and before you proceed to apply, I would seriously consider this review. I'm giving YoNinja one more week to reply, and if they don't, I will be proceeding to get all YoNinja's job postings taken off reputable sites such as Glassdoor, Indeed, and Monster. I will also make a follow up review on Glassdoor. Believe me, I'm searching for jobs and internships just as you all are. Let's not waste our time, and so far, this seems like the biggest waste of time during my job search yet!
