Had a preliminary phone screen and received an email asking to complete a three-part test. I perceived an incongruence between my interpretation of the posted job description and the skills that were being tested. In my opinion, if the posted job description had included this alleged aspect of the potential job responsibilities, I likely would not have applied. I seem to have wasted both my time and the time of the hiring manager.
