Entrevista
The first interview with two HR personnel was easy with rather simple questions. The total time for this interview was approximately 10 mins; yes, ten mins.
The second interview consisted of observing an all girls group of teens ages 14-17 as they participated in therapeutic recreation. Afterwards, I toured the facility and interviewed with a floor supervisor and program manager.

A boy, 10 years old, has ADHD was called out while playing a game of kickball. He will not leave the base and insists he is not out. He begins to verbally attack playmates and spit on staff. How would you handle this situation?
You go through two different interview processes where they ask about previous experience and a bunch of scenario questions. The second one involves a one hour observation. I was offered a position the same day as the second interview.
The interview for this position was straight forward. I met with the cottage supervisor as well as program manager to answer questions about my education and experience. There is only one round of interviews for this role.

A ton of situational questions
The interviews aren’t very hard. They are going to ask about previous experience with children and the why behind working at youth villages. (Why do you want to work with children with mental illness and behavioral issues?)
