The overall interview process went fairly quickly. The first interview was a phone call with HR, followed by Zoom interviews with 2 other functional managers. Overall these interviews were standard and professional. Then I was asked to create a project to present to several members of the team including the CEO. The interview was a complete waste of time. From the start, it was clear the CEO was attempting to ask gotcha questions as opposed top diving into my relevant experience. The impression I got was he's completely out of his depth and isn't dynamic enough to engage in a professional manner so he decided another route. Once this started other members on the team adopted a more confrontational style. Then after spending over a month interviewing with them they ghosted me, no follow up to the presentation I gave. Not even a generic e-mail to say they were going in a different direction. After reading the reviews on here I can see how and why their current employees are not happy. I've been around bad executives and leaders in my career, and my assessment is that is ZAGG's #1 problem. It's a shame considering the potential they have.
