Entrevista
The interview process was online and was extensive. There was technical assessment, cultural interview and a system design exercise. All of the interviewers were very polite and professional. What they are looking for ability to work with truly high scale systems that can handle 100 of millions of successful fulfillments per year.

Design a system that has x number of requests per second? Design a system that handles fulfilment of a flash sale/give away that happens in multiple countries.

I was approched by a recruiter. I had 1 Interview with HR recruiter, 2 x Tech interview, 1 x Interview manager, And that is basicall it!
The nice part about it was that it was very fast!

** DONT APPLY in Zalando and WASTE YOUR TIME **
This was probably the worst experience about the interview with any company in my career for the last 15 years.
First, I had a call with a hiring manager who was the delivery lead, he asked general questions about the API Design and operational perspective, and at the end of the call he said, he is impressed with the skillset
The second interview was with a recruiter who came 15 mins to the call and started asking about salary expectations instead of explaining about tole and responsibilities.
The third interview was with the Head of engineering, the interview went extremely well, and the interviewer even extended the call as a useful discussion. In the end of the call, the interviewer told me that he is highly impressed with the skill and considers me the right fit for the role, and will discuss with a recruiter to take it to the next step.
However, after few days, I got a shocking email from a recruiter that they're not taking it further based on interview feedback, which was absolutely shocking for me because both the interviewers told me that they are impressed with the skillset and consider me as the right fit for the role so I'm still unclear what went wrong
