HR contacted shortly after application went through (few days) for an initial call. All went well so we progressed to the next stage, interview with the hiring manager. The HR person prepped me for the kinds of questions I’d likely receive and what the role’s key focus would be. Interview with the hiring manager also went very well and then they sent me the task assignment before the next stage. I devoted quite some time to complete it but sadly the communications became all the more sparse and vague when finally HR emailed to say we wouldn’t be progressing because they’d offered to someone else who was already in final stages.
