The interview itself was less than 7 minutes. The Interviewer was relaxed at first but got seemingly tense that I mentioned that the average salary for the position to be 74k for St. Louis MO (one of the sources being Glassdoor). I was first asked what are my salary requirements, so I mentioned being comfortable near the average listed. She then said it was $21/hr and entry level. Why ask first what are my requirements if you have a salary cap anyway? Shortly after, she said something along the lines of good luck finding another position and promptly hung up.

I was contacted by a recruiter for the company that proceeded to tell me that only people with associate degrees are worth anything. I have 6 years in the industry. When told the average salary in the region they there was zero discussion, their way or the highway. 21 an hour for someone with years of experience is a joke. Good luck finding your next wage slave.
