Several rounds of interviews both technical, problems solving, and leadership experience. Fairly typical for a Senior Eng Manager position. Some math involved in the problem solving. Light on system design.

Typical questions about how to experience managing conflict.

Entrevista
Phone screen focussing on soft skills, then a 5 module onsite, conducted remote. It ended up being two project retros, a math module, intra team leadership, and project planning. the duplicated project retro might have been an error on their part. One interviewer stressed that the job was very stressful and that I'd, "experience every emotion there is in this job, and every pace of work and type of frustration." He's quite the salesman.

The questions were all very standard mgr interview except for the math portion. For that they asked a series progression question, (find formula for doubling a value each iteration), and then they asked how a person with ancient greek level of technology could computer the distance from the earth to the moon. They wanted an actual answer and to be successful it had to be within 5x of the actual value.
