The interview process had three rounds:
1. Technical Round
2. Case Study Evaluation
3. Final Fit Evaluation
The final “fit evaluation” round was actually more like another technical discussion rather than a cultural fit discussion. Overall, all three rounds went well and the discussions with the panel were positive.
After the rounds, HR discussed compensation. There was some negotiation regarding salary, and I agreed to align with their budget expectations. HR mentioned that they would confirm the final update by end of day or the next day and also asked about my joining availability for the following week, to which I agreed.
However, after that, there was no proper communication or closure from the HR team despite multiple follow-ups through calls, email, and WhatsApp. At least a simple response or status update would have been appreciated after investing significant time in multiple interview rounds and salary discussions.
The technical interview experience itself was good, but the post-interview communication and candidate handling process were disappointing. Candidates invest considerable time and effort into interviews, so clear communication and professional closure should be part of the hiring process. Future candidates should be prepared for possible delays and lack of timely communication during the final stages of the process.
