Fiz uma entrevista na empresa ahead (Germany) (Berlim).
Entrevista
I recently interviewed with this company and had a mixed experience.
On one hand, the interviewer asked many detailed questions and went deep into my background, which initially felt positive and engaging. The conversation gave me the impression that there was a strong match.
However, the outcome was quite unexpected. I received a rejection with very limited feedback, mentioning a preference for candidates from a specific industry. This was not clearly communicated in the job description, which made the process feel a bit unclear.
Overall, while the discussion seemed thorough, the expectations did not feel fully aligned from the beginning. It would be helpful if requirements like industry preference are communicated more clearly upfront to avoid confusion for candidates.

What a mess! The interviewer was not only late, but quite rude during the interview process, the interviewer barely explained anything regarding the role and asked very vuage questions. Initially I was told that I would be moving forward to the next round to do an case study and then meet the HM on-site however after 24 hours, I was sent a generic rejection email, I requested a slightly detailed feedback (1-2 sentences) andI was completely ghosted. If this is how their team is like, I am glad I was rejected.

I applied for a creative role at Ahead and was asked to complete a very intensive video editing task before even being offered an interview. The assignment required creating a full social media ad for the app, with directions to add advanced editing, animation, storytelling, integration of AI-generated assets, and motion graphics into the final product. In addition, I had to submit a detailed supporting document explaining my process and reasoning, as well as another document with links to inspirational references and short notes on why I liked each example.
All of this was to be submitted within 7 days, which I managed to complete and deliver on time. Despite the significant amount of unpaid work involved, I never received any feedback, acknowledgment, or even a basic rejection email.
For a company positioning itself as a mental health app, this experience felt very strange and not authentic to the values they claim to promote.
