Attended assessment day in Osterley. The assessment was very well organised. However, it took way too long (over 4 weeks) to get the outcome. Sadly they said I performed well but they rank the candidates and I didn't make the cut.

3 rounds, GD, HR and Technical. I was offered another role based on my interview performance. I had to take another interview online, Technical round again for the new JD.

Entrevista
3 people; very dull intro, looked like they were just trying to fill a role with a body. They flashed their cameras for a minute maybe, then went into hiding, only using their audio. Only the Asian lady had the courtesy to keep the video turned on. The techie / developer guy--with a thick (Indian?) accent--asked some inane question about accessing a server, and troubleshooting a particular HTTP error code. One could have easily looked up the error code on Google, or with the AI co-pilot, and see in 1-2 sec the 4-6 different issues that can most likely cause the error code and recite it back to them. The guy was fed up with my approach to troubleshoot the error code from first principles, he probably wanted me to regurgitate something that he memorized decades ago. Then they left to take a 5 minute break, came back without the techie guy, and turned on their cameras once again to tell me that they're not interested in continuing the interview. I said "OK, bye", since I wasn't interested in them either. Amusing experience, for sure...
