Only made it to the first step where, in addition to the usual HR questions, you get asked (overall quite standard js) technical questions from a non technical recruiter: this means that you cannot explain your answer or ask for clarifications.
Got rejected cause when asked about a specific set of skills I tried having a conversation about it instead of saying just "yes", they reported a "no" to the engineering team which discarded me. Contacting the recruiter to explain that I indeed have those skills, I got ghosted.
The overall call was not bad, and the recruiter does seem to do their best to get the candidate comfortable, but this approach is just not right.
