Recruitment process is broken. Waste of time. Position was for a new tech hub in Barcelona. The salary we discussed is an average for Barcelona. I had an initial call with a recruiter at the end of January 2026. Got a request to propose a time for the next interview. My time slots for the full next week were ignored, so, I got an invite in 2 weeks to the time slot they proposed (it's a big coincidence that I was flexible that day to accept it). The interview with 2 senior technology managers went well. There were no feedback or any follow up message for 2 weeks. I sent a reminder asking about the status. I got an answer from the recruiter that he should be receiving a decision on 1st round by COP today and will give a call soon. 2 more weeks passed - no news at all. P.S.: before having a first interview I got several unexpected calls from the recruiter to my mobile phone just to confirm the interview while it was not urgent.
