I recently had the opportunity to go through two rounds of interviews:
Round 1: Technical Discussion
A 60-minute online interview.
Round 2: Onsite Interview
2 hours: Technical and behavioral questions with the Director and Head of Engineering.
1 hour: Lunch with the team.
2 hours: Behavioral questions with the Hiring Manager and the Lead.
Overall, the interview experience was very positive. Everything was well-organized, and everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly.
However, the second session was particularly challenging due to my 4-hour travel from CST to EST, combined with a sudden climate change (from 80°F to 50°F). Continuous interviews and body aches made it tough to keep up, but I managed to push through. The last session wrapped up in about 1 hour and 15 minutes, thanks to Lance, the Hiring Manager, for being considerate.
I truly appreciate that i360 covered all expenses for travel, stay, and food.
The only downside was the feedback process. After waiting for about 10 days without communication, I received an email stating they were moving forward with other candidates. While I respect their decision, I feel that more timely and constructive feedback would have been valuable, especially considering the time and effort invested.
A special shoutout to Rumit and Brian—it was great connecting with you!
Being my first onsite interview in 6 years, it was a significant learning experience, and I’m grateful for the opportunity.
