After submitting online my resume and extensive application (which included 11 essay questions), I was invited via email to attend a meet and greet breakfast at the store. There were 6 prospective applicants and 3 management-level employees present. It was a fun, casual, freeform interview, during which we went around the circle and everyone introduced themselves (including the employees). I was impressed by all the applicants and what they brought to the table. I think it speaks volumes to the company and the high-calibre people that they attract. Three days later, I was invited back for a one-on-one interview with a manager. We covered topics such as: why lululemon, my favourite way to sweat, how I cheer myself up when I'm feeling down, my goals / dream job, etc. And in turn, I was given the opportunity to ask questions. Both interviews left me feeling sure that lululemon is not your typical workplace and that it was where I wanted to be. I was told that I'd receive a decision within two days. I received a call the same day as my 2nd interview with an offer. I accepted immediately.
