Candidatei-me pessoalmente. O processo levou 1 semana. Fui entrevistado pela lululemon (Nashville, TN) em ago. de 2010
Entrevista
I interviewed with Lululemon in Nashville for a part time position. I have had contact with the current staff over the past year and was actually ask to interview for the position. I had a group interview the second week of August and then a week later I was ask to meet for a yoga class and second interview. The second interview was held at a restaurant with the store manager and 2 other educator. There was very relaxed feel and actually the good majority of the interview was spent casually chatting about things unrelated to Lululemon. The day after the 2nd interview I received an email from the manager telling me they would not be offering me a position. Ultimately I was shocked and felt like they really missed the boat. I am a very motivated, physically fit and fun person. I have great listening and interpersonal skills and have spent more than 6 years in different retail settings. I realize that Lululemon values people that are passionate about the business but I felt like they misrepresented what they wanted throughout the interviewing process. I think passion for a business comes when you are actually working there. I am very passionate about people and fitness but I think it may be unrealistic to expect people to buy into Lululemon without actually being immersed in that working culture for a period of time. I will say that the staff I met with seemed very young and maybe to concerned with people fitting into a unrealistic box that they missed the gifts that people have to offer. I think it is great that Lululemon promotes goals and personal growth but the bottom line is no one would shop there if the product wasn't great. You can have a whole staff of goal oriented people but that doesn't necessarily mean they can sell or educate people on the product. I think there should be more focus on past work experience and personality. Honestly, i am not very excited about the company anymore and I hate to say it but you just lost a customer.
iI had a group interview with 8 people. The interviewers were very friendly and it was a very relaxed atmosphere. They asked questions popcorn style and everyone got a chance to answer.
