Pretty sure I was clearly applying for back-end developer but they were expecting to be both good at both design and back-end as well. They would even brag about all employees know Front-end frameworks while both doing back-end work. That's worse than the previous startup I worked on. The two are different disciplines. Would be great if the company would get a new manager as well. So they are after full-stack developers because it cuts the cost.
