Email interview, then a phone interview, then an in-person endurance interview. Overly lengthy would be an understatement of this last phase. 15-20 people were involved, a printed schedule was offered but immediately ignored and rearranged, and overall it ran for 5+ hours. No one seemed to know what questions to ask, most people weren't on time, and each interview session was about twice as long as it needed to be, resulting in many long, awkward silences.
This process did not change for the duration of my employment.
