TLDR: faang wannabe company with 2020 salary ($30-35/hr) which interviews candidates for unconfirmed roles without mentioning it in the job posting.
They have a 5 interview process. Even though the process is faang like, the salary range is 30-35 usd/hr.
During the HR interview, the recruiter told me the process was going to take 2 weeks, because they want to move fast. This happened on a Friday.
I had my first technical interview the next Wednesday, which went pretty well. However, I did not hear back from the recruiter for a week, so after 10 days I decided to message about updates.
The recruiter sent me an AI generated message in which she said that the feedback for the technical interview was great, but that their “hiring priorities have changed”. Additionally, she told me that the role is not yet confirmed and she invited me to remain in the talent pool for future opportunities.
I thanked her for this amazing opportunity, but I declined and also suggested to add my profile to the blacklisted candidates.
I wasted 2 hours of my life with this joke of a company for an unconfirmed role, and they invited me to waste x more hours sometimes in the future.
My advice: stay away and don’t waste your time with them.
