Candidatei-me por meio de uma faculdade ou universidade. O processo levou 3 semanas. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa spoon.net (Seattle, WA).
Entrevista
I applied through school and was contacted by a member of a staffing agency that spoon.net works with. I had an informational interview about my general career goals with him and then gave a work sample, which can basically be anything that you think is cool. I then interviewed with someone at the company who was great. He asked mostly about my previous experience and why I wanted to work at spoon.net. Then I got a technical project which is basically just using and troubleshooting their project. I think this is the most important part of the interview process. I found it to be pretty challenging and it was maybe an indicator that I wouldn't be right for the position. Still, I did make it through to speak with a higher-up in the company and the CEO. They asked me mostly easy questions about my experience and what I thought about their company. This was the final step, they don't actually do in-person interviews as I understand it. We had okay conversations but I didn't end up getting an offer.
They were great about communicating (via both email and texting) throughout the entire hiring process. They were very transparent about what they were thinking and are a good example of how companies should act. Since none of the conversations involved any technical questions, I think that the project must be their primary tool of judging candidates skills.

The project was pretty difficult and time-consuming for me. They said it should take 4-6 hours and I spent probably 10-15 hours on it.
Thanks for your review! Sorry that it didn't work out :( but please keep us in mind for the future! It sounds like you have a great attitude, and we're glad you had a positive experience with us.
